Allah says in the Quran.

And We send down of the Quran which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (followers of Islam).(Surah Al-Israa, 17:82).
It is also a fact that, Islam does not discourage the use of medical treatments available to us in the light of research and investigation of modern sciences. On the contrary, the use of such treatments is encouraged by the teachings of the noble and last Prophet of Allah (Peace be Upon Him). He sought the treatment of illnesses and diseases for himself and also urged his followers (Muslims) to do the same. Thus, use of medicine for the cure of different diseases and troubles is part of the Prophet’s teachings and instructions.

Prophet of Islam (Peace be Upon Him) said:

There is a medicine for every disease, and if that medicine is applied to the sick person, he will recover with the blessings of Allah’s.” And the Prophet (Peace be upon him) also said: “Allah has not sent down any disease but He (Allah) has also sent down the cure of that disease. The one who knows it, knows it and the one who does not know, does not know it.”

There is another Hadees(Saying of Prophet Peace be Upon Him)

This is a Hadith, narated By Abu Said Al-Khudri: Once, some of the companions (Sahaba) of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) came across a tribe amongst the tribes of the Arabs, and that tribe did not occupy them. When they were in that state, suddenly somebody informed that a snake has bitten the commander of that tribe. They said, (to the companions of the Prophet), “Are you carrying any medicine with you or anybody with you who knows how to treat with Ruqya?” The Prophet`s companions said, “You have already refused us to entertain. Due to this, we will not treat (your chief) unless you pay us for that treatment.” Finally, they agreed to pay them a herd of sheep.

One of them (the Prophet`s companions) started the cure with the recitation of Surat-al-Fatiha and collecting his saliva and spitting it (at the snake-bite). After some time (as a result of quran recitation), the patient got cured. After this, they presented the herd of sheep to them, but they said, “We will not take these sheep unless we ask our Prophet (whether it is lawful or not).” When they asked the Prophet (Peace be upon him), he smiled and said, “How do you know that Surat-al-Fatiha is a Ruqya? Take it (flock of sheep) and also give me a share.” It shows that the Prophet not only granted permission but also take part in the reward of his companions.

Symptoms of Dajjaal

Hazrat Anas Bin Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger (Peace be Upon Him) said: There will be no land on earth which would not be covered or approached by Dajjal but Makkah and Madinah. And there would be no passage which would not be guarded by angels arranged in rows. Then he (Dajjal) would appear in a barren place close to Madinah and it would tremble for three times. As a result of this, every unbeliever and hypocrite (a person who pretends to be pious or virtuous) would get out of it towards him (dajjal).

Rewards of Reciting Quran

There are too many rewards and blessings of reciting the Quran. Everyone can acquire these rewards and also blessings of Allah, by reciting the verses of Quran frequently. An authentic (Sahih) hadith in Sunan Tirmizee states:
Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah (Quran), he will have a good reward. And (due to blessings of Allah) that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is one letter, but I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “Laam” is a letter and “Meem” is a letter.” For this reason, increase your recitation of the Quran in order to get these rewards, and to obtain the following merit as well.

In another hadith, Hazrat ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, narrates that the Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) said:
Certainly, the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will acquire the company of the noble and obedient angels. And a person who recites the Quran with difficulty, halting or stumbling through its verses (ayaat), then he will get TWICE that reward.” (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim).
